Angiogenesis Assays

tumor models

tumor models -catalog #10310 (C57BL mice), #10311 (SCID mice), #10312 (nude mice)
  • Tumors are generated by injection of appropriate tumor cells into C57BL mice (mouse tumors) or into immune-compromised SCID or nude mice (human tumors)
  • 10 mice for each: compound (1 dose) and vehicle control
  • Treatments are given daily (s.c. or i.p.) or as instructed by the client
  • Typical treatments continue for 2-4 weeks
  • Data collected includes: tumor volume (mm3), tumor weight at the end of study, and histology sections (if requested by the client)
  • Several tumor lines (mouse and human) are already available at Paragon (no extra cost) - clients would have to provide unique lines
  • Client receives a detailed report summarizing original data in graphs and including basic statistics
