In the wake of demands from its customers and the pharmaceutical R&D market, Paragon Bioservices initiated plans to more than double its operating space in a new custom-built facility. The 21,000 sq. ft. facility will include state-of-the-art cGMP suites for manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals intended for Phase I/II human clinical trials. The facility will be multi-product and designed to support manufacturing across several expression platforms.

The facility also includes new laboratories to expand capacity in support of the current services offered by Paragon. With the new facility, Paragon will continue to be a leader in research protein production and functional assay services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

To optimize internal collaboration and efficiencies the company's new administrative and executive offices are also located in the facility, adjacent to the areas in which the company's research scientists will work.

During construction, Paragon will continue to expand its client base and provide its services on an uninterrupted basis from its current, fully-equipped location.
