Capital for a Day at the University of Maryland BioPark

Governor Martin O’Malley and Dr Jay Perman—the new president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore—held a press conference and hosted a cabinet meeting on July 29, 2010.  This was to recognize Baltimore’s  contribution to job growth and advancement in biomedical research through the BioPark’s thriving community of CRO/CMOs,  life science companies and academic research centers.   Participating in the “Capital For A Day” ceremony, along with Governor O’Malley, were several associates of Paragon Bioservices, Inc., including:  Ramona Dougherty (Director of Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance), Michele Dumás (Corporate Accounts Manager) and Jessica Boehmer (Director of Sales & Business Development).
