Purified VLPs

Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) is a very powerful analytical tool that allows research investigators to visualize normal and abnormal cell anatomy, as well as the unique details of the structure. It supports process development, assists in biological production and viral load monitoring and provides a wealth of information in research projects. When there is a need for high resolution images of viral or biological specimens, TEM can help determine:

Ultrastructure
Cell culture contamination (in bioreactor failure investigations)
Viral particle identification, characterization
Protein localization

It is used in neurotoxicology for sectioning of peripheral nerves and for quantitative evaluations of myelin thickness in peripheral nerves, for neurotoxicity.
