TEM Services available at Paragon:
Studies are performed in compliance with FDA and OECD GLP Regulations, upon request
Complete TEM
This service includes all processing, embedding, thick & thin sectioning—as well as microscopic analysis. Following transmission and/or scanning EM, photographic documentation (ten-twelve 8x10 photographs) of important morphologies will be provided to the contracting laboratory.

Immunogold Labeling
This method is used for the localization of specific antigens at the EM level. Samples are fixed (using lower concentrations of glutaraldehyde), processed and sectioned. The grids are immunostained, using an antigen-specific primary antibody—followed by a gold-labeled secondary antibody. Electron-dense gold particles with ultrastructural components of cells and organelles localize the desired antigens.
