Ultra-thin section EM analysis

Investigators can observe a high resolution view of the morphology of cells, tissues and viruses. They can use the ultrastructural details from these specimens to determine their viability and structural data on cells and tissues (such as the morphological changes on cells over time.) This assists in the analysis on the effectiveness of virus-related vaccines and drugs—as well as the analysis of cell membranes and cell walls, and for the examination of their potential contaminants.
